How do I view the SQL for a report so I can edit it in that view

I can edit the report but do not see an option to edit it in SQL.

You can view the SQL by Switch Design View On/Off button and then edit it.

I see a button at the bottom when I select edit on the report. That button is called design mode on/off
Clicking that changes a fw greyed icons to be usable but nothing about SQL

Wanted to include a screen shot here but not sure how to. There are two different views depending on which report I try to edit.

To edit an SQL query

  1. click on Queries in the Database panel of the Base GUI
  2. Right click on the query
  3. either click on Edit in Sql view
  4. or click on Edit in the drop down menu

To edit the SQL that services a form

  1. Click on Reports in the Database panel of the Base GUI
  2. Right click on the report
  3. Click on Edit in the drop down menu
  4. Click on the Form Navigator icon (9th from left at the top of the window)
  5. click on Data tab in the right hand panel
  6. the second entry, Content, shows the name of the SQL query
  7. the drop down menu will display all the queries in your application

There is no “Edit in SQL view” as listed in #4 above. When I click on Navigator it opens a small pop up window that has:
Report
Functions
Page Header
Groups
Detail
Page Footer…

I see no right hand panel
