Remove numbers from table of contents hyperlinks

Hi,

I want to take away the numbering automatically that is found in a hyper-linked table of contents.
After learning how to do hyperlinks the output looks like this:

Table of Contents

#3.LibreOffice/OpenOffice|outline

#4.Kingsoft Office|outline

#5.Google Docs|outline

What I am trying to do is write and format a book for www.smashwords.com. When reading there style guide, it was said that It has to look very specific. I want to take out #, the number, and |outline. But when I tried to do it manually the link no longer worked. I am using writer 5. Thank you in advance for all of your help.

I figured it out.

Step 1. First, you have to highlight your heading.

Step 2. Then go to the title bar and click on “insert” and scroll down to “bookmark”.

Step 3. Type in the name of your bookmark, and then click OK.

Step 4. Then go back to “insert” again and click on “manual break”, then “page break”

Step 5. Type something on your blank page, whatever it is you want your hyperlink to be.

Step 6. Then highlight your text and go back to the insert tab again. Click on “hyperlink”.

Step 7. Then click on Documents. After this, you will see a heading titled “Target in Document” Click on the circle to the right of it.

Step 8. Now find the heading that you had selected earlier as a bookmark and click on apply, then OK.

Step 9. Click on OK in the second window, not apply. You will still see the # symbol but it can be removed and it will still work.
