CloudAV1202202555_2408 is today’s name automatically generated and put on my desktop. If I leave it there, tomorrow will be another one automatically generated. If I delete it, another one is automatically generated almost immediately. Needless to say I don’t need it nor want it. It appears to be some sort of Calc document “text import”. It seems to be an analysis request and/or/result of all the programs and such on my Windows 7 “C” drive, it is well over a thousand lines long. After scrolling down to line 2648 (and not at the end), I see that there are many ‘dropbox’ related files, and since that is a cloud based program, is this the problem?
I’m using LO version 4.4.5.2, but it has been happening on the last two previous versions as well. The computer is a Dell windows 7 desktop using English.
It is created when LibreOffice doing what?, I never have seen something like this, don’t know how it can be create with LibreOffice. Have you verified it is not a malware on your computer doing that?.

(Abstract): … To explore this idea we construct and deploy a production quality in-cloud antivirus system called CloudAV. CloudAV includes a lightweight, cross-platform host agent and a network service with ten antivirus engines and two behavioral detection engines. We evaluate the performance, scalability, and efficacy of the system using data from a real-world deployment lasting more than six months and a database of 7220 malware samples covering a one year period. Using this dataset we find that CloudAV provides 35% better detection coverage against recent threats compared to a single antivirus engine and a 98% detection rate across the full dataset.

(Summary) Cloud AV 2012 is a variant of Win32/FakeScanti - a family of trojans that claim to scan for malware and display fake warnings of “malicious programs and viruses”. It then informs the user that they need to pay money to register the software in order to remove these non-existent threats. The malware may also attempt to terminate processes and block access to websites.
