LibreOffice crashes on startup after upgrade to OS X 10.11

Since I have upgraded to OS X 10.11 LibreOffice 5 crashes on startup with this message:

LibreOffice 5.0 - Fatal Error

The application cannot be started. [context=“user”] caught unexpected com.sun.star ucb.ContentCreationException: Unable to create Content for <vnd.sun.star.expand: $UNO_USER_PACKAGES_CACHE/log.txt>:

When I rename my user-directory as recommended here: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resetting_the_user_profile, the error message changes to:

LibreOffice 5.0 - Fatal Error

The application cannot be started. A general error occurred while accessing your central configuration. (“cannot open directory users/…/Library/Application%20Support/LibreOffice/4/user/registry/data”)

which makes somewhat sense because I have just renamed this directory, but LibreOffice is supposed to create a new directory?? My user has read&write access to these directories.

I have also tried to uninstall and then reinstall LibreOffice, but to no avail. I also repaired permissions on the drive, but no change. Other programs seem not to have problems writing to the user library.

Any suggestions to solve this?
