Save AutoRecovery every minute seems far to short. The system might not have time to finish the autosave before it starts the next one. You would need the storage space for the autosave files.

I am using Mint-17.1-Mate with LibO 5.1, 5.0 and 4.3 without problems. Is this a recent installation? If so, you could try resetting the profile, but I would slow down the autorecovery for a start.. Peter
