LibreOffice Base 4.2 (English)/Windows 10.
I am having trouble trying to place a form control - e.g. an option button - in a form. I edit the form , click on the option button from the Form controls toolbar, then click on the place where I want the button - and the cross cursor (+) simply reverts to an insertion cursor and nothing happens. Same thing happens with any of the form controls. Can anyone see what I’m doing wrong?
Having selected the control from the toolbar move the cross cursor (+) to the point on the Form where you want the control and click and hold down the mouse left button and drag the cursor to the size of control you want.
Thank you, Peter. I hadn’t thought of dragging the cursor to make a variable sized control … I was just trying (for several days!) to drop it. Much appreciated.
