Several of My Office Applications (Word & Excel) use VBA macros. Without strong support (compatibility) I cannot change from MS. Is there a forum dedicated to the VBA issue?

You do realise that macros are indicative of an API (LO vs MSO) rather than the underlying file format (ODF vs OOXML)? Macros are therefore, in essence, a form of vendor product lock-in. The cgit log on /core for “vba” indicates that work is being done in this area. This will however likely remain more a data retention issue (not losing macros) than any real prospect of natively executing vba code.
