I downloaded LibO 5.1.0, but it won't install because it says I don't have high enough priviledges. But, I'm signed on as administrrator. Now, my desktop LibO icon is gone, and where are all my LibO files?? Help!! Highcountry

What operating system are you using?

Installaton issues are OS specific as a rule. I am afraid nobody can help you without knowing your OS and its version. In addition installation related problems might better be addressd in OS specific forums.
Supposing your system is a Win version you get a workaround by downloading and expanding a LibreOffice version packed in the PortableApps format. You then can open LibO and subsequently your files at least.
Available from http://portableapps.com/ (also the Platform there)
or from Index of /libreoffice/old/5.1.0.3/portable e.g. (many older versions, too; without the platform; self-extracting to an empty folder of your choice).
