Impress: Insert image in the footer

I want to add image to the slide footer in Impress, but can not find any way to do this. I managed to add footer with some text via “View → Header and Footer” menu. Text I entered as footer text displayed on the slide. But I can not select footer area and edit it.

Is it possible to add image to the slide footer? How I can do it?

If you want to insert an image in the footer, I guess it’s because you want it to be reproduced on several pages. If this is so, how to do is to edit the slide master.

My advise is to refer you to the user guide that explains what and how.
