How to dock slide pane in libreoffice 5 Impress?

In earlier versions, if the Slide Pane was floating by itself, you could double-click below the title bar of the slide pane, while holding the CTRL key, and the slide pane would re-dock with the main display. How does one do that in version 5?

Hi

I can not undock the slide pane with my 5.1.0.3 (windows)… But to (un)dock a pane :

  • Click anywhere in the pane
  • Press Ctrl+Shift+F10

If this does not solve the problem, you can reset you “profile” as explained here.

[EDIT]

The Windows 7 folder: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice

For example : C:\Users\Pierre-Yves\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice

Shortcut: open the file browser, and type %APPDATA% in the URL bar.

HTH - Regards

Thanks, but that doesn’t re-dock it. (I am using Windows 7). And the article on resetting the profile is incomplete, the “link” that was supposed to tell you how to find the profile file is missing.

Options will show you the path.
Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Paths
If your user name is “Dave” you should see a bunch of folders starting with:
C:\Users\Dave\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\user
Rename that \user\ folder to \userBAK\ (or something else)
When you re-start LibreOffice a new user will be created.

What version of LibreOffice are you using?
I remember this issue on a previous Writer 5.x version.
Just tested v5.1.0.3, v5.1.1.1, and v5.1.1.3 on Win x64 - all working fine.
