Thinking of switching from an OO Base database to LO but not sure how practical it would be. I would not want to enter the data manually, as it would take months and would likely be error prone. Looking at the relevant documentation there is no obvious Import data facility within Base ( or Export for that matter ). Any advice gratefully received. Thanks
LO is an offshoot of OO. They are extremely similar. In Base you can typically open you file in either without modification. I do this frequently for testing. There are some differences especially in macros and as time progresses, since they are being maintained/enhanced by different teams this gap may widen.
