I’ve been running on 5.0.3 for months and due to various LO crashes I’ve upgraded to 5.0.5 a few days ago.
All was ok until just now my battery died and the system didn’t shut down properly. On reboot, I find all my macros, autocomplete entries and settings gone!
Was there a backup made somewhere during the upgrade? How can I get it all back?
I am running Windows 7 SP1 x64

Well the good news is that the Previous Versions feature of Windows 7 saved the day. I restored a copy of my LO profile from a few days ago and all appears back.
Except the changes I made in the document I was working on for the last couple of hours… 
PS: Autosave appears to be useless. More often than not it appears to fail to recover the document… Oh well, you get what you pay for…
