Error message "LibreOffice stopped working"

I can’t open more than one file WRITER or CALC at the same time because LibreOffice shows me the error screen “LibreOffice stopped working” and closes all files without giving possibility to save documents continue losing all the work. This same problem does not give me another computer the same but with Microsoft Office 2010. I have several open files and never leaves me error.

My computer is a Surface 3 Pro with Intel (R) Core ™ CPU i3-4020Y 1.50GHz, 4 GB of RAM and Windows 8.1 Pro x64 processor and the only programs that I have installed are LibreOffice 5.0.5 x64, Google Chrome and WinRAR.

After searching the forums I upgraded to LibreOffice 5.1.1.3 x64 and installed JAVA 8 Update 77 but the problem continues.

When I open files my CPU consumption is 28-32% and memory usage of 59-64%.

I have also tried to remove the indexing of files on drive C: \ but I am not able to fix this error.

At the time the error is produced all I have open in Google Chrome and LibreOffice CALC.

Can someone help me solve this problem?

Please test disabling OpenGL in Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/View

Hello m.a.rios,

Uncheck the “OpenGL” option in Menu / Tools / Options / LibreOffice / View as you told me but the problem continues.

Mainly happens file has been developed in Office 2010 and contains references to cells in other Excel files, it contains macros, formulas, and protected cells.

Maybe the problems is with macros, there is a very basic compatibility level.

I have reset the user profile, and still have the same problem.
