All the settings are correct, the bluetooth is working fine, I can even send files. But the remote is the only thing that doesnt work. Over WiFi is ok, really nice. But I need it over bluetooth, cuz I have a presentation in a place that doesn’t have wifi.
Hello, I’m having the same problem in Ubuntu 16.04. It worked fine in Ubuntu 14.04, when I last used it 2 months ago.
It works perfectly over wifi.
I tested bluetooth connectivity and I could use it fine in other applications and to send files.
UPDATE: I figured out a way for it to work: go to bluetooth settings, delete the previous pairing and pair the devices again through the step by step process.
When it asks you to confirm the pin number, I confirm it on the cellphone and click “match” in Ubuntu. At this point, the bluetooth utility gets stuck!
While it is “stuck”, the remote will detect the presentation.
