How to start LO right with Start Center?

I find the Start Center very useful as it gives me one-click access to my recently opened files. I got used to it in my everyday work routine, but it was when some previous version started LibreOffice right with Start Center. Now it starts with a blank file, so I have to close this file to see the Start Center. Is there a way to make LO behave like before?

I learned from this forum that some people want no Start Center at all, for privacy or whatever reasons. I think you should let users choose how LO deals with this start thing. Some option in the Tools section, maybe?

"Expert Configuration option to disable thumbnails in StartCenter

will be available in 5.2.0." (scheduled release August 2016)

It’s all in the shortcut you use. You didn’t specify your version or OS, but in Linux, the shortcut is libreoffice5.1 %U. Look in your LO folder under your main menu and there might be a shortcut for it there already, which you can simply put on the desktop.

I found that we can get this by simply creating a shortcut for this LO Start menu item on the taskbar.
