How do you change the font size in Navigator?

The font size in Navigator is not controlled by LO but by the system’s configuration. This should change. I need the Navigator font size to be big enough to read comfortably.

In addition, nowhere in the documentation does it say this is the case.

Also, many users want the Navigator font size to be big enough to read comfortably, but don’t want to change default system fonts.

AND LO offers no help in telling how to control the Navigator font size, and this font size is important. I realize it is different for different systems, but there should at least be an explanation and help for a couple of common linux systems.

Hi

ToolsOptionsLibreOfficeViewUser InterfaceScaling can increase the font size of menus, including Navigator but not I do not know, indeed, specific option for the navigator…

regards

There is one option that is explained nowhere else, and that it took me the better part of a day to figure out.

Open LibreOffice

Tools > Options > View
Increase Scaling size from 100% to about 250%.
That makes everything get too big, including the text size in the main document and the menu bar at the top, but you can always reduce the size of the text in the main document.
But at least you can read the Navigator.

There should be a better solution in LO, but at least I can now read my navigator.

WARNING – in newer versions of LO this option is no longer available and I don’t know what to do now to increase the text size in Navigator.

In the same vein, I’d like to see a larger text in the Find/Replace dialog fields. Regexs get very intense and hard to read there.
