Select all text in a document

Hi,

Is there a way to select all text in an document? Ctrl +a does not work as it does not select all text boxes.

Thank you!

If you are trying to delete them all because you scanned something and it added them, select the picture you scanned by clicking in a blank area between the text, Ctrl +X, then select all (Ctrl + A), delete, then paste (Ctrl + V); sorry that I don’t have a proper answer, but this was the easiest way.

While the content of the text box is not highlighted, the text box itself will be selected as an object with Ctrl-A: it’s anchor will be picked as the normal text is selected. You’ll only be able to cut, copy and paste the whole thing, though: you cannot apply text formatting to text boxes on Writer if they are selected as objects, you need to enter them one at a time.
