I want to include an image as part of a footnote, but it seems footnotes can only include text. I can place an image in the footnote area, but it is then a page-related artefact and the footnote area cannot be wrapped round it (text is obscured, the footnote divider does not rise to include the image area, anchoring has no options to refer to footnote, wrap options do not affect the footnote, etc). Similarly, if within the footnote, “Insert” has “Image” and several other options are greyed out.
You can Anchor the image To character, set Alignment to Base at bottom, then just insert enough paragraph breaks to accommodate the image.
