How can I change character of hyperlink?

When I create a text hyperlink, a gray background is created for the text.
When I right click, select Character, and make changes (e.g. blue color and underline for text), and click change, nothing changes.
So how can I change character of hyperlink and set a default for blue underlined text (or whatever I want for my document)?

(Not from detailed knowledge, just concluded from experience)
If an internet link is recognised, Writer will apply the named character style ‘Internet Link’ overlaying its character properties as a conditional format to the style used in andvance of the recognition. As soon as the link was visited, the character style ‘Visited Internet Link’ will be applied in the same way.

You can modify the named character styles mentioned above with effect for every recognised link. Character properties having set a value in the definition of the named styles (size e.g.) will not persist if set differently for the text in advance of the recognition.

Font name will persist… I do not know a way to distinguish the properties with respect to this difference without an experimental decision.

As Calc does not support named character styles, I do not know a way to do the same in Calc.

I don’t understand anything in your reply, or what “Calc” is. I’m working in a spreadsheet I created in LibreOffice, and don’t care about a "Visited Internet Link’.
After creating link and clicking on it, URL page opens in browser, so I presume it’s “recognized” (whatever that means).
As stated previously, I do NOT want the default gray background for the link that appears behind the text that I highlighted from which I created link.
I also want to change the text from black to blue, and from no

I’m getting closer and closer to MS Office.

You are welcome.
There are more than one document types you can create / work on with LibO, and you did not specify.that it was a spreadsheet document you were talking of. Thus I assumed you talked of ‘Writer’. 'Calc’is the module integrated in LibO concerned with spreadsheets. There is a tag ‘calc’ here you can choose.
“I don’t understand anything in your reply,” And you are sure I am to blame for?

They will love you. LibreOffice will heavily miss your great support. Sorry!
