Hi everyone,
I have my LibreOffice ODT file of 5 Mb full of text, images and tables. How is that if I open it in Windows (originally created there) it looks as expected, but if I open it in Ubuntu (chromebook and crouton) all tables have messed widths and where before I saw (for example) one row for the number 01 now I see it in two rows??
This is very frustrating, I had assumed the capability to work independently of the OS, but with this should I regret having bought a chromebook?
BR,
Gerard
UPDATE:
Actually, I can see that the problem is much larger than with tables. Text looks bigger in Linux, so that with the same “Page” dimensions the text distributes much worse in Linux than in Windows. This in turn makes that the pages are also different, where one table is in one page in Windows it appears in two pages in Linux.
What I’m asking then is if this has any solution at all (I foresee it does not), because it looks to me that LibreOffice does not provide this OS-independent features after all.
