I am having a problem converting a table to text. The table has 4 columns and many rows. When I convert the table I will get 2 lines for each row. Line 1 is what I would like. Line 2 is like line 1 except the first 2 fields are empty and I get columns 3 and 4 repeated. How do I not get line 2 for each row? I can supply an example of the problem is desired.

Thank you

Good idea!
You might also add your version of LibO (and your OS probably).

Usually, each field, in the table, is delimited by a paragraph marker. Turn on the control (toolbar), so you can see the markers. Use the paragraph marker, as your delimiter, then go through the text, replacing each paragraph marker with a tab or space.

I just tried it with a four-column, four-row table. When I selected Tabs as delimiters, I ended up with four lines, each one a paragraph, with each column accurately transposed, separated by tabs. I think that is what you want.

Alternatively, you could add a special character at the end of each row, and then spec it as the row delimiter when you convert.
