Creating pie chart showing percentage

hello group,
I want to create an utterly simple pie chart that enables met to show the ratio of the amount in a cell compared to another cell (or fixed number).

So I have one cell containing a score, say 8, and another cell containing the norm score, say 12.

Now I want a pie chart that shows the score (8) being 66 % of the norm (12).

Can you guide me on this?

thanks in advance, Ruud

You can create an additional cell holding rest=total - score. Then create a pie chart from the score and rest.

To insert the percentage, right click on the pie chart and select “Insert data label”. Then right click the pie chart again, choose “Format data label”, and tick “Show value as percentage”

hi vhi,
thanks for your suggestion. That was exactly the solution I came up with after asking this question. I was unsure if there was a possibility without the extra cell, but I think this is OK since it works.
