Unable to save Impress file in PowerPoint format

I created a large slide presentation using Impress (over 10 slides!)

The computer being used for the presentation is not mine, so I attempted to save the presentation, currently an odp file, to PowerPoint format.

However, consistently, about half way through the process, the app crashes, with the error message:

Fatal error
Bad allocation

Can anyone explain what is happening and suggest a way to save the presentation as ppt or pptx file without having to recreate it all over again.

Thanks

BrianS

Try other formats too, such as Flat ODP. It’s an interesting error, one I know for certain I’ve never gotten from LO or OO.

I got same error :
Libreoffice Version: 5.1.4.2
Build ID: 1:5.1.4-0ubuntu1
CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Linux 4.4; UI Render: default;
Linux Mint 18 Sarah

Open file pptx, modify in LibreOffice, then save in pptx, and freeze …only option ForceQuit.

What LibreOffice version?
Need an example file to test.
Attach file or post a link.
