How do i move pages in the same document

If I have a document of a report I have written for an example. I want to move page 5 between page 1 and 2. How do i accomplish this?

Writer doesn’t have pages, a document is just one long stream of text, wrapping across line ends and page borders determined by page size and margins settings. So if you want to text that is now on page 5 between the text on what’s now page 1 and page 2, you will have to select the text you want to move, cut it (Ctrl+X), then paste where you want to move it to.

Ciao, you can select all the content of page 5, copy it in memory and than delete it. Go to end of page 1 and paste the page 5 in memory.

Copy/Cut and Paste is the quick way for simple tasks. Saved the doc first in case something messes up.

But for more complicated tasks, you could insert a heading above each pertinent section. Then open the Navigator (F5), and you can drag around Headings, with their following text, very easily with the mouse. Make sure everything is present and accounted for and where you want before re-saving the doc.
