Can I format page numbers higher in my footer?

I need page numbers to be toward the top of my footer instead of the middle. When I convert to PDF, the page number sits too low and will be cut off during the publishing process.

How do I reformat this?

Hi,
I’m not sure if I understand your question but if I have understood you, you only have to do as follows:

  1. Click on “Format”
  2. Click on “Page”
  3. Click on Tab “Page”
  4. Change the margins. You see the margins in the left corner. For your case, increase the margin “Bottom” until you are happy

I hope it works

While you didn’t answer my question directly, your answer did help me find a solution. Thanks!

I wanted to deal only with the spacing within the footer - not the entire page. When saved my document as a PDF the page numbers were too far down on the page and it would get clipped in the layout/printing process.

I went to: format - pages - footers - then I turned off “auto fit height” as well as turned on “same content left & right”.

This put the page number at the very top of the footer, instead of the middle. I believe this solved my problem.

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
