Why I created a document on Microsoft word and edit it on iMac LibreOffice and then I open it with Microsoft word and it always says it needs to recover?

When I created a document on Windows and it was perfectly normal and then I go on to iMac and edit it on the LibreOffice and it was very normal and then when I saved it and went on Windows Word or Powerpoint it just says I need to recover the document and when I recovered it some of my content are lost. When I open the unrecovered one on iMac it was perfectly normal and now I am confused… Someone please help me…

Which version of LibreOffice and which version of Microsoft Office do you use? Which file format do you use, odt or docx?
