Copy from chart to chart

Hi there!

First off, let me point out libreoffice is really getting faster! Really appreciated!

At my work, we work a lot with charts. There’s a lot of copy and paste and it quickly becomes endless. So here’s a bunch of features that I would like to have.

Before I jump to the list, if you guys think it should be feasible through macros, don’t hesitate to say it! I’ll gladly jump on the job!

  1. copy format from chart to chart ( I would offer a pack of awesome beers for this one, really! )
  2. select many charts at once, for example to allow copy & paste of many charts at once
  3. align charts on the grid. small one, but it would be great
  4. when copying sheets, make sure the graphs on it are based on the resulting sheet, not the old one!

Again, thanks!

Laurent

In relation with second point:

  • Click on every chart with shift key pressed, and copy / paste.

with the third point:

  • Grid options: Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice calc - Grid
  • Align: Click on every chart with shift key pressed, and right-click/alignment.

with the fourth point:

  • By copying the chart, retain the source cells.
  • By copying the sheet, change the source cells to the new sheet.
