Slideshow not looping

Hello,

I created a presentation in Impress that I want to loop continuously. I have the slide transitions setup most with the same time transition, but a couple have a few longer time periods. According to the documentation, I need to set “Auto” in the Slide Show Settings to automatically restart the presentation after a designated period of time. I’ve tried several different time settings, including zero in auto, but the presentation will not start over.

I noticed a mouse pointer icon in the lower left corner of the last slide. To me, that might indicate that means that requires a mouse click to advance the slide, is that correct?

No matter what settings I use, I cannot get the presentation to loop. I am using LibreOffice, v4.2.82 on Ubuntu.

If someone can provide an information on looping my presentation, I would appreciate it.

Thank you.

Daryl

Hi

On the last slide you can check in the side bar:

  • Transition (Advande slide, may be set to “On mouse click”) and
  • Custom animations (Start may be set to “On click”)

Regards

I finally figured out what was wrong.

When I originally created this presentation, I set animation on the last slide. I wanted the last slide to flash, but it never worked and I guess I never removed that animation. So, that slide was waiting for a mouse click to run the animation and would not loop. Once I removed that animation, I am now able to get the presentation to loop so I can setup it up to run unattended.

Thank you for the reply.
