Comment box position

I find comment boxes useful.

Occasionally I like to have a lot and write a lot in them.

I’d like to have a huge right margin to the document and have the comment boxes extending into the margin of the page area using up that space; Can I do that?

OR

Can I enlarge the narrow strip to the right of the page, which the comments stubbornly refuse to budge from ?

OR (if none of the above)

Can I have comments on the left as well as the right?
