I accidentally erased a two page letter before saving. Can I recover it?

The letter was a. o.k and ready to save but I decided to send straight to printer.
When I clicked on printer an item of stationary came on screen with the question did I want to save changes !!
I clicked on do not save changes and lost the letter text.

I am using Windows 10,

HELP !!

Assuming you kept the original LibreOffice window open try clicking inside the document and then press Ctrl+Z this might undo any change you just made. Alternatively try Ctrl+V Might work, might not, depends if what you did copied the text of your letter into the pasteboard or not and assumes you haven’t copied anything into the clipboard since.

Other than that, and assuming that at some point in time you did save the document, then just re-open the version you did save and take it from there (you would, though, have to re-type the parts that you declined to save).

See [Tutorial] How to find and un-delete AOO/LO temporary files (View topic) • Apache OpenOffice Community Forum for [Tutorial] How to find and un-delete Writer temporary files

It gives instructions on how to identify and un-delete the temporary files Writer wrote while you were editing the file, and then deleted. You should be able to recover all or most of the file.
