I noticed that printing out a small logo in Libre, theres not the clarity, in fact theres more of a smudge of lettering than in MS office when printed out. Also the print view before printing shows the un-clarity also, unlike MSO. That concerns me for the type of office work we do. Is there a reason or will the print improve?

Try modifying the option in:
Meny/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/View - Use Anti-Aliasing.
