Hi, maybe it’s simple, but I cannot find it. In librecalc strg+h opens the “find & replace” dialog. Clicking on “Other options” and check “regular expressions” and you will have fun. This setting is let’s say semi-persistence. Usually it’s preserved even after closing librecalc. But sometimes the mark disappears. Which config file do I have to edit and what option do I need to change to make regular expression searches and replacements default?
It should be persistent unless you run a macro which unticks it.
A workaround is to record a macro where you set it. Assign the macro to an event when LO opens.
As I mentioned: “Usually it’s preserved even after closing librecalc. But sometimes …” The problem is that I’m currently not able to reproduce this behavior. But the tick was definitely unset this morning. Maybe it’s a bug? I will have a look at it. When it occurs again, I will report it.
