I have abrand new Dell Inspiron with Win 10. I can dowload the instation file OK. This is: LibreOffice_5.3.0_Win_x64
Howeve when I click on this it starts up the installtion wizard. Then I click on Next and then choose Typical. I click on Next, and choose to create a start link. Then I click on Install. This quickly brings up a window with the message “Error 1500. Another installtion is in progress. You must complete that installtion before continuing this one.”
Yet there is nothing running except Firefox used for sending this post, and ceratinly nothing being installed.
I thought that this might be due to Windows 10 wanting me to purchase and install a full blown MS Office Suite and was deliberately barring Libre.
Please can someone advise. Thank you.
