Version 5.3.0.3 Base Problem with Boolean Fields

Recently upgraded from 5.2.4.2 (x64) running on Windows 10 (x64). HSQLDB Embedded

I have a database table that contains 5 fields specified as “YES/NO BOOLEAN”

Everything runs/looks fine in version 5.2.4. However in version 5.3.0 the Boolean fields have disappeared from forms and in a table view the columns are listed but the fields are empty. Running a query using the Boolean fields seems to work ok, indicating that the data is there but I just can’t see it - or enter it.

Am I missing a new setting/parameter someplace?

Additionally in both versions I have GL disabled and OpenCL disabled.

Would appreciate some guidance on this - TIA.

On forms check the field property and change Style from Flat to 3D. Haven’t seen any problem on tables.

BTW - same problem on radio buttons.

Also I’m using Mint 18 so maybe something with tables on Windows.

Got it. This must be a bug introduced in 5.3
Also, since the table view apparently has no workaround it definitely needs fixing.
Thanks Ratslinger - you are definitely our Base expert on this forum!

@JohnD since you have both problems it would be nice if you could file a bug report. It may get fixed relatively quick since it just cropped up. BTW - Thank you, but I’m really no expert. Learning all the time.

Bug 105463 - Checkbox in Base form corrupted

Thanks for not only reporting but also for posting (which many forget)!
