Does anyone know if there are instructions on how to reconcile or balance my checking account monthly using the Personal Checkbook Register extension?

It’s not an extension, but a Calc template that has a sheet with pre-defined table where you may put data about your transactions line-by-line, and have balance automatically calculated by simple formula in column G.
I suppose it may only visualize your status (which itself is great aid); and it’s common sense (also proficiency in finance, and maybe professional support) that may help you to keep your checking account healthy.
