Glue Point in a Skewed Rectangle

How can i attach a glue point to the top left or bottom right corner of a right skewed rectangle(right skewed meaning leaning right)? I need to be able to resize it. With the position of the glue points on the respective corners of the skewed rectangle.

If you use a parallelogram from the custom shapes, then dragging the yellow handle does not transform the object itself. Custom shapes are “paintings” on a rectangular canvas. If you set a glue point with the Insert Gluepoint function, then it is set to the canvas, not to the painting. If you want to add a gluepoint to the “painting” of the custom shape, which moves together with altering the yellow handles, then you need to do this in file format.

If you use a custom shape rectangle and shear it via Position&Size dialog or via the slant handle in the rotation mode, then the whole object is transformed and the gluepoints remain in the corners. You can use a rectangle from the toolbar Legacy Rectangles (View → Toolbars) as well. If you set the glue point first on the area of the rectangle (enable color fill for that) and then drag it to the corner, it is easier, than placing it on the corner directly.

Is it possible to hack into the graphic file and change and make the Gluepoint move around along with the end points. Like make these Glue Points part of the “Paintings”?

That is possible for all custom-shapes. You can look at the shape “isosceles-triangle”. Its gluepoints at the top and at the middle of the edges are calculated. The gluepoints can use formula results and handle values same as the path. Do you have already worked on the geometry directly? If not, you might start with Create a New Custom Shape in Source in File - Apache OpenOffice Wiki and the references there. Tip: In LO you need not unzip, but you can use the fodg file format.
