I have noticed the auto spell check stopped working

I am not sure when it started, but I have been noticing the auto spell check in Writer and Calc has stopped working. I had hoped an update to the latest version (5.2.5.1) would correct the problem, but it has not. It will auto correct case at the start of a sentence and will correct words like teh to the, but will not call out incorrectly spelled words.

I have gone threw the dictionaries and only use the English USA version. I have even used Reva Uninstaller to uninstall the LibreOffice suite and reinstalled it.

I’m at a loss, any help would be appreciated,

I bumped into same problem yesterday on a general Fedora 25 update. After investigation, I discovered that the hunspell spelling engine was not brought in for all the languages I use, e.g. English_UK. Everything went back to normal after I forced manual loading of the required packages.

You seem to be on Windows and maybe you also need auxiliary tools aside LO.

Most spell check [problems are caused by a corrupted user profile. Reset it. See Frequently asked questions - General - The Document Foundation Wiki - important: rename the folder, don’t delete it. Please note that re-installing Libre doesn’t reset the user profile.
