How to change the format of the hyperlink in Calc?

how to change the format of the hyperlink in Calc ?

Format? Text to button? F2, Home, Insert-Hyperlink: Form → Button. Or you ask about color? Tools/Options/LibreOffice:Appearance:Field shadings

Or use the hyperlink function (=HYPERLINK(“http://www.your-url”), then create a hyperlink cell format style and apply it.

Remember that the grey box around the “link” text is only to show you the text is a link. If you print it, only a blue text appears.
Follow the others tips to create a style format to apply to your text.

I found that the Field Shadings route was the correct route (Tools > Options > Libre Office > Appearance > Field Shadings). But I found a problem when turning off the field shadings that meant the whole cell would be treated as a URL.

So I recommend just setting the Field Shadings to white.

Thanks for this! (sadly I’m not allowed to vote…) Somehow in my LO Calc (5.4.x), links are rendered light orange on dark grey which is very close to unreadable. Note the path has changed to *Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Application Colors > (Text Documents) > Field Shadings. I’ve set mine to “Light Gray 5” and that works.
I think the handling of the entire cell as a URL isn’t related to this; it’s a general LO usability issue…

Hello,
Can somebody ,please, update the intsruction above after the option Appearance was removed from LO Options? I cannot read hyperlinks now they are light green and background is light grey so there is minimal contrast.

The field shadings value seems to be shared across spreadsheets?
