Slides with inserted GIF animations cause Impress to freeze. Is there a fix, some GIF animations seem to be ok others always cause a freeze. Is there a way to identify safe GIF files?
The way is to file a bug and attach sample GIF with step-by-step instructions how to create a presentation that would freeze; also specify the LO version used. This will enable developers to inspect what causes that, and give you required information how to identify those files (hopefully in the form “it’s fixed now, so every GIF is OK”).
