Is there any way to loop an Impress presentation so it plays continuously?

Yes, go to "Slide Show|Slide Show Settings" and set the Type to "auto" - the presentation will start over after the specified amount of seconds.

(Of course you will also have to configure your slides to automatically go to the next creating appropriate Slide transitions with "Advance slide" set to automatically after #seconds - easiest to select all slides in the slide sorter view, then choose the SLide Transitions category in the right-hand task area, set desired values for transition type & the timing, then apply/apply to all slides)

Thats great. Thanks so much for taking the time to explain this. I tried this and it worked great. I had no idea that is what "auto" meant in the slide show settings. It's not very explanatory.

This did get the presentation to loop for me. However, when it looped back to the begining, mine had a jarring transition, even though the transition is set to "smooth." The screen flashes. It's not the effect I'm going for, since this is for a marquee. Is there any way around this?
