Uninstall older Libreoffice

new CentOS 7 Linux Install LibreOffice 5.3.2.2. How do I uninstall older LibreOffice 5…0.6.2

This should be easy.

But first, IMHO, I suggest you backup your root, home, var and other relevant partitions. If you don’t know how to do this, and do it well, then don’t proceed unless you know how to fix things once you break them.

Then how did you install it in the first place? Distro (i.e. synaptic) or build or pre-built or that new way, one file runs everywhere (can’t think of the name of it right now)? Can you reverse that process, like remove it via Synaptic, delete the file, then do apt-get auto-remove to remove any unused shared libraries?

Actually I think disk space is cheap, and you should probably just leave it in place, and/or perhaps just pull it out of your menu if that bothers you. You never know when you might want to go back and test if something worked on your old system.
