Hi so I’m loving LO for the most part but I’m having an issue. I’m trying to build a continual reinvestment formula that’s based on whole numbers of parts… there’s no such thing as 2.28 widgets but my spreadsheet is spitting out capital costs based on fractions of parts purchases. I reduced the number of decimal places in the formatting to zero and it changes it visibly but not the behind-the-scenes math. Any help whether through format tweaking, logic, or any other solutions would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest thing is to set “Precision as shown” on Tools → Options → LibreOffice Calc → Calculate.
The other option is using rounding throughout your calculations…
