WRITER - inserting "placeholder" for PDF stamp

Hello world,

I have converted my signature to a PDF stamp using Nuance Power PDF Advanced. When I use Writer for correspondence, my closing is very simple: I add

"Sincerely,

“My name”

I export the Writer document to PDF and then open it in Power PDF, select Stamps, and drag and drop my signature into the space between “Sincerely” and “My name”

Is there a way to put a placeholder in the Writer document where I want my signature placed in the PDF, that will transfer to the exported PDF?

TIA!

As an alternative: presumably you have an image (jpg, png etc) of your signature? Create a Writer document with the signature text and the image of your signature, plus any other information you want for a default correspondence, and save the document as a template.

Thanks for the response. The problem with that approach is that I’m an attorney, and I can’t have my signature stored in a template that other people in my office have access to.

Stated differently, I don’t want the signature to appear in the Writer document, just in the PDF that I can sign with a stamp. And I am the only person who can add the signature stamp.
