How to bring new document window to front

In “Windows Explorer.exe” I click on a document, and this opens a new window in front of the explorer window.

When in “Windows Explorer.exe” I click on another document, this asks the soffice.exe process to open the new document, and it creates a new window above the existing document, BUT BEHIND THE EXPLORER.EXE window.

Is there ANY way to make the window appear in the topmost z-order? (It’s on Windows 10)

I have noticed that W10 in general with a large variety of programs has this problem.

You didn’t tell which version do you use. If it’s pre-5.2.6, then this is your problem at the link above. Simple upgrade won’t fix it, because the fix is the change in default configuration; already existing configuration won’t be changed.

You may avoid upgrading, if follow directions of comment 50.
