Variable print range

In Calc, if I go to named ranges and expression, I can define a print range called myrange and define it as $B$4:$G$18 and myrange will show up under print range. My problem is I was trying to set the ending of the range as $G$3/2. That way I could enter data in 1 cell and have it print out the number of cells I wanted. Every time I try this, myrange disappears from the print range selection.
things I have tried:
OFFSET($Sheet1.$B$4,0,0,$Sheet1.$G$3/2,4)
creating a named expression calc and in the formula expression put in $G$3/2
creating a named expression end and in the formula expression put in CONCATENATE("$G$",calc)
then creating a named expression myrange and in the formula expression put in $B$4:end

can someone point me in the right direction please?
LibreOffice is version 5.3.2.2 and OS is Windows 7 64 bit.
Thanks

Have you tested the expressions on cells to see what it the result?

Hi

Unfortunately, this is currently a feature limit.

I had reported a RFE (request for enchancement) on this issue.
