How to start a document footer page number above one?

I asked this before and got several answers, none of which work. One was to insert a page break then the starting no. via “Format” “Paragraph” “Text Flow” “Breaks” “Insert” “page no.” The “Breaks” section is greened out, i.e. non-functional. Any working ideas would be welcome. I have a large document to print but need a different series of page nos. Thanks

Go to the first paragraph in the text area, not in the footer. In properties of that paragraph go to tab “Text Flow”. You need a page break with position “Before” and a check mark in “With page style”. The advise “insert a page break” has been correct.

The problem is that you have some sort of document that seems unusual, so we cannot advise where exactly should you put cursor and all. If you could share at least first page of the document (in ODT format; you may replace all characters with garbage or any single letter to avoid making private information public), and post a link here, that would enable to give more targeted advise.

Mike Kaganski, would you be wiling to give me your email address so I could send my document as an attachment?

Of course. Mail me to mikekaganski@hotmail.com

This is the first 3 pages: [link text](http://C:\Users\eandy\Desktop\Documents\Upon my death), Will that do?
Doesn’t work: Try this: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui=2&ik=56f99657a2&view=att&th=15bf93480a8b2d7d&attid=0.1&disp=safe&realattid=f_j2kvblyr0&zw

The link didn’t work. How do I link to my document?

You should upload it somewhere to an online share service like e.g. DropBox, and post here a link to that resource.

Dropbox won’t let me join. Any other facilities?
