Best way to get a "book format" on Writer

ie, two pages side by side, like a book. Would i be better off to make two columns per page, to make it look like a book, or is there a special template for that? I found one called "standard manuscript format", but I would like to know if there is something more suitable than this?

Use a Page Style where Format > Page > Page ..., uses Mirrored.

Check the documentation for (much) more useful information - especially about headers, footers, page numbering, chapter numbering, Manual Page Breaks, Index, Table of Contents, References and automatic blank pages; and know how to view in Book Mode.

If this helps then please tick the answer and/or show you like it with an uptick.

This isn't an answer! If something doesn't work for you, ask your own question with a reference to this one to show you searched the site.

In your own question, describe what you've tried to achieve (this may not be the same as above), what you attempted (is it really the same as in the answer?) and how it does not fit your expectation.

When done, delete this "non-answer" because this site is not a forum and you made me suppose a new solution was found.
