LO just upgraded to 5.3. All fonts have been lost. Why? Windows fonts are still there.
What do you mean with “font lost”? Are there no fonts in the font drop-down list? Or are there no menu texts? Or…?

The problem manifested itself like this: all fonts are available in font list; and putting cursor to a text shows the font that was assigned to the text. But! all text is shown using a monospace font (presumable Courier New, as OP mentioned). It got fixed after reboot. I suppose it happened after I upgraded to 5.3.3, and started to use LO without reboot (which was not requested).
All the paragraph styles had defaulted to a Courier-style font.
I rebooted the PC and the fonts came back. Can anyone explain this? Will it happen again?
Ah! Yes, this happened to me the other day, too. It got fixed after reboot… Don’t know if that’s something to be expected again. It was when I upgraded 5.3.2 to 5.3.3. Never happened before.
At least I am not alone! Might be a Windows bug I suppose.
