I used LO on my old computer. I got a new one and the documents I had in LO did not transfer over. I downloaded LO onto my new computer but it does not show the “home page” where I can choose a “word” document or spreadsheet template. HELP
More information required - operating system, LO version. What do you click on to open LO and what is displayed?
I click on the icon on the desktop and all that comes up is the same document over and over. None of the ones I had are anywhere to be found. I used to open LO and it was a “home” page with a column on the left where you could choose what you wanted to do, ie spreadsheet, compose a letter, etc. That page never shows up anymore. So I am unable to make any new documents.
It seems the target for the icon is a file and not the LO program as you say it opens a document. Click on File > Close and you should see the main page.
If I had an answer, I would not be asking the question
