Hi, I am using Libre Office Version: Build ID: 40m0(Build:2) Locale: en_US

I have the proper fonts installed, and can perfectly view the contents in the libre writer editor. I have also installed the necessary dictionaries. However, when I right-click on a misspelled word - it displays the suggestions using a font that does not properly render. This is also applicable for the F7, Spelling window.

Locale Language details:

  • Name: Bangla

  • Font Name: Vrinda ( available for free )

  • Unicode supported? Yes.

OS Details Ubuntu 14.10 64 bit

Java version

  • openjdk version "1.8.0_40-internal"
  • OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build
  • 1.8.0_40-internal-b09) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.40-b13, mixed mode)

here is a screenshot of it:
